Cafetiere

Coffee makers are all about preference so we have cafetieres as well as Moka or stove top coffee makers.

Cafetieres - aka a French press, cafetière à piston, caffettiera, press pot, coffee press, or coffee plunger, are for a milder brew if you're not after a shot of espresso. You can get away with using them for loose leaf tea too (wash it properly though, otherwise you'll have tea that tastes a bit, er, coffee-ish). And superb for a jug of ice coffee too... Let it cool down, put in fridge, add ice...
