A new addition to our ever growing bar soap collection: Swedish Pine Tar soap. It smells amazing... Piney, tarry, smokey, comforting.

Made locally by Eva Hellqvist. Eva's soaps are very long lasting, have a very special, smoky, woody scent and said to have antipruritic, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antifungal properties. Also useful in treating psoriasis and eczema. Soothes dry, itchy skin.

Made with Fine Pine Tar oil (imported from Sweden) and a few drops of Juniper essential oil. Transparent vegan soap base( SLS-FREE/ no harmful sulphates), no perfume or colouring). 100g bars.

A smell that has grown on me.

I wasn't keen on the smell for the first couple of days - imagine the smell after cleaning out a woodstove with your bare hands. I gradually moved to quite liking it to now loving it! I've always been a Pears Soap girl but this is definitely going to be a staple in our bathroom from now on. I've given 4 stars as I have Seborrheic dermatitis and was hoping the soap would clear this up, however it hasn't had any effect on this specific condition, otherwise a fab product!
