Lots of you like the music we listen to at Utility. And we listen to Pokey LaFarge a fair bit. He played Brighton the other night. He was excellent (as were the band). He was throwing flowers into the audience. A bit of Chrysanth petal got stuck on his forehead. A woman standing near me pointed to her own forehead and mouthed to Pokey "you've got something stuck on your head". So he came over to have someone fix the situation. The woman in front of me got an attack of 'shy' and wouldn't attend to the petal on Pokey's forehead as he leaned down to have someone sort it out. So I did. Boy, it was stubborn. That petal wouldn't come off. I had to use lick and everything.
Apologies to Mrs. LaFarge, but I am sure she would be glad someone was looking out for Pokey.
