3-in-1

3 in 1 was always a household staple for me. A toolbox essential. There wasn't anything my Dad ever did without reaching for a bottle of it.

There's some confusion between 3 in 1 and WD40 for some:

3 in 1 is for long-term lubrication (think hinges, bike chains, locks and sewing machines). WD40 contains some solvent, so its best use if for loosening seized parts and for unsticking things that are too tight to undo. Apparently a pro tip is to use WD first, to clean and unstick the thing, and THEN use your 3 in 1 to keep whatever it is in good shape.

I wish it was still in a can though.
