These blue all cotton striped tea towels are the best budget teatowel I have used. And so smart looking. They measure 71x52cm approx (that's 20.5 x 28 inches in old money). They wash and iron really well (yes, I said iron). Super absorbent, none of the frustrating chasing the water around the plate when you're drying up. The stripe means they disguise any staining or ageing really well. They are £1.50 each and wait for it... three for £4. That's really good.

    False advertising

    I’ve spent countless evenings smearing water around pot and pan lids, the only tea towel I’ve seen claiming not to do this but it’s the worst one we have in the cupboard. A little disappointed

    Hello Luke - So sorry to hear you were drying up unsatisfactorily for so many evenings. May I ask if you washed the tea towel before using it the first time? All kitchen linens benefit from a wash before using: There can be a 'dressing' on the surface when new, which is best to wash out first. I use mine all the time and get on with them really well.
