Our own brand bread board. We had it made because it seemed strangely hard to find a normal, sensibly sized bread board. It's big enough to use as a good sized chopping board, but not so big to make it awkward to wash up. Made from beech (which supposedly has antibacterial properties) and it measures 35cm by 25cm and is 1.5cm thick.
We've pre oiled it for you and it will thank you if you oil it (just veg oil, not olive oil) between the first few uses... Then just forget about it and no more molly-coddling will be needed.
When you wash it, use hot soapy water, rinse and dry. Just don't leave it soaking - it will split.
