Brown Betty teapot
Brown Betty teapot
Here's a most traditional Brown Betty tea pot. They call the lovely brown, Rockingham glaze which varies in colour in a very appealing way.
The 2 cup measures 18.5cm spout to handle and is about 11cm high with a 11cm diameter. It holds 500ml or half a pint.
The six cup measures 23cm spout to handle and is about 14cm high with a 14cm diameter. It holds 1 litre or 1.75 pints.
The 10 cup is the biggest and I would suggest 5 teabags. It measures 26cm spout to handle and is about 17cm high with a 16cm diameter. it holds 1400ml which is about 2.5 pints.
The 'cup' measurement is a bit of a nonsense when you come to think of it.... Depends how big your cup is, so best go by the capacities we've listed.
