"Le Chien" knife

The 'Le Chien' knife is a jack of all trades: perfect for prepping or as a dinner knife. It has a serrated blade and a "full tang" (where the blade runs all the way through the handle) which makes it super strong and reliable. It's unbelievably sharp and made by Thiers Issard, a French knife maker since 1884. 

"Le Chien" has a kind of weird but excellent ornate handle - made from...er, brown plastic. Absolutely dishwasher safe by the way.

It'll be your best friend in your kitchen drawer, you mark my words.

We now have the equally excellent 'table' version - ie not serrated, but ruddy sharp all the same. Look great with plain forks and spoons.
