Probably the mildest soap in the world. ABSOLUTELY NO NASTIES AND NO SCENT! The ingredients are: 

  • Olea europaea fruit oil (olive oil)
  • Aqua (water)
  • Sodium hydroxide (lye)
  • Sodium chloride (sea salt)

THAT'S IT. Great for anyone with dry or problem skin and certainly mild enough for babies. This particular soap is made of pure virgin olive oil and so it doesn't make lots of lather but it is the mildest non-drying thing for washing your face for babies and for anyone with sensitive skin. We have some very dedicated fans of this soap..... The Patounis family has been making their fantastic soap for 5 generations since 1850. They built their current factory in 1891 (where they are still using the original stamp on the soap). If you'd like to know more about the types of olive oil soap, click here.

It’s all I use!

Since I discovered this (and the green one) I’ve never used another soap. Same for my Mrs, who has sensitive skin, well, she used to have, but since we switched to this, no issues. I buy in batches of 8 or 10 as I don’t want to run out. Love this shop, love this soap.

It is good stuff, cleans with almost no nasty modern chemical additives. For use and instructions instructions ask Mama!
