Or a 'cookie scoop' or 'cookie tray pan' according to the makers, USA Pan. Anyway, if you're making BISCUITS, this is what you need: it has an angled surface so one side is easy to grip and the lower edge makes sliding the COOKIES off much easier.

We have a long way to come regarding cookie inventiveness... The USA Pan website says "Let your snickerdoodles, chocolate chip cookies, peanut butter blossoms and more slide right off the pan with our Americoat nonstick coating and the tapered edge of the bakeware....". Get me a peanut butter blossom IMMEDIATELY! Whatever it is.
