Decided to put all three in one listing... Seems clearer to me. STIFF, MEDIUM, SOFT.
STIFF: The Stiffy as we like to call it. This stiff hand brush has bristles that are like a yard broom; very good for outdoor use and stiff enough to unstick wet bus tickets from paving and get cig ends out of the cracks (you know what I mean don't you?). Made from bassine fibre.
Goes well with the hard working plastic dustpan.
MEDIUM: Somewhere between soft and hard..... shall we say medium? Bristles are made of arenga no less.. a plant fibre. I would say save the sexy horse hand brush for your kitchen floor and use this one for slightly more grotty jobs - cat litter?
SOFT: For smooth, hard floors the horse hair hand brush is excellent and great for collecting the finer crud (we have brooms made of same). It goes really well with our galvanised dustpan..... (of course it would).
This is probably the best soft dustpan brush I've ever used. The horse hair comes from the mane or tail hair and the brush is really well made with a hole in the handle for hanging it up. Everything should hang up - I say 'off the floor off the floor'.
We have three types of dustpan. Dustpans are a particularly personal thing. Closed? Open? Metal? Plastic? Here are the links to each:
STRONG PLASTIC (my personal favourite).
