Nutcracker

There are a lot of, er, not great nutcrackers out there. Not this one. It's a heavy old thing made from die-cast zinc with a satin finish. Once again, made in Germany by Westmark. It had two sizes of recess, so even a hazelnut won't defeat you. 18cm long.

This definitely comes under the heading "buy once, buy right".
