One of the greats. Right up there in the 70s ad agency must-haves. Pentel describe them as the 'designer's choice'. Some people use nothing else. For those who don't know, a medium felt nibbed pen, great for signs/marking without being as chunky as a magic marker. They're great for labelling, just the right thickness of line (1mm). Apart from feeling great and writing beautifully, they look wonderful.
Made in Japan since 1963. Apparently when it was released the factory couldn't keep up with demand after Lyndon B. Johnson bought a dozen of them for signing photos. There's a rather lovely mission statement from the president of Pentel, Tomokazu Takahashi, on their website you can read here.
