A beautifully made, incredibly useful household tool and work friend. You may be familiar with the other 'scraper' we have, but this is like the 21st century version (indispensable for all your tech stuff and gadgets - more on that in a mo). Essentially it's a flexible, non-sharp, stainless blade in a very tactile layered ply handle.
It can be used for getting rid of grime, dried glue and paint, labels and stickers (don't get me started on that), glass hobs, counters, windows, hard floors and on and on. You can use it alone or with solvents and cleaners. As I was saying earlier, the fine and very strong flexible 'blade' is excellent for jemmying open all sorts of annoying things, like remote controls, phones and the like.
It's the tool to have when you say "I just need something thinner than a screwdriver... bit gentler than a table knife to open this ruddy thing".
Come in and have a little test drive with the shop one... You'll fall in love.
Measures 15x2x1.2cm. Stainless blade thickness 0.3mm. Hardwood ply handle. Made in Brighton, England.
Care: give the blade a wipe if you must, but don't soak that handle and certainly no dishwasher.
Hand made by Geoff Lewis, a Brighton-based artist. Who's an absolute card by the way.
