Woods Beryl

The Woods pottery's most enduring and loved tableware pattern. We've good a good stash of the classic green (this Woods pattern was also available in blue (Iris) and yellow (Jasmine). Seen in every staff room, village hall and now on most episodes of "Call the Midwife". I think it's popular, not just because of the warm fuzzy tea-with-the-vicar feeling it inspires, but also because it looks great in both old-school and contemporary settings. Beryl Ware was made from the 30s till the early 80s. It is one of the most nostalgic household items I can think of. There are hard-core collectors everywhere.

Long ago, we used to sell more 'vintage' and there was nothing we liked than some Beryl Ware. But it's rarer than ever now, so we don't get our mitts on it very often.
